Taos RESIDENCE

This high desert house was inspired by the local alternative building methods and traditions of the region. One side of the courtyard house is bounded by a rammed earth building with a corrugated pitched metal roof of the Anglo-Territorial style, two sides are made of low Pueblo-style buildings of pumice-crete, and the fourth side is comprised of a low garden wall that allows the landscape itself to complete the composition.
