bolinas barn & RESIDENCE

This new residence, which includes an indoor pool and a horse barn, is located on the northern edge of the Bolinas 'Big Mesa'. Built in the notoriously anti-growth community of Bolinas, the challenge of this project was to fit the new complex comfortably into the rural character of the area. Carefully considered, well-detailed, modest, and cost-effective materials give a sense of appropriateness and surprise to the project.
